This notice explains what we do with your personal information when you contact us or we carry out work for you. We are the data controller.
Who we are
Citu Landscaping is a trading name of Chay Lane and Callum Roberts, of Studio 4, Temple Studios MCR, D Harper House, Harper Road, Manchester M22 4RG. You can reach us on 07405 588966 or at info@citulandscaping.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and postcode
- What you tell us about the work, including any photos you send
- How you found us, if you tell us
- Quotes, invoices and job records once we work for you
We do not ask for and do not want special category data, and we do not take payment details through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and quote for work — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out and guarantee the work — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep records of jobs, quotes and invoices — our legal obligations, including tax, and our legitimate interest in being able to honour a five-year guarantee.
We do not send marketing emails and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and serves its pages
- Resend — delivers enquiry emails to us and your confirmation to you
- Our subcontractors — the paving trades who work on your job get your name, address and what the job involves, and nothing more
- Our accountant and HMRC, where the law requires it
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for seven years for tax purposes, and so that we can deal with any guarantee claim within the five-year guarantee period.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. Ask us on 07405 588966 or at info@citulandscaping.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
